CAPS United could have been thrilled with their win over Chicken Inn on Sunday, but the club’s leadership isn’t pleased with the conduct of the boo-boys among their fans. Kelvin Bulaji’s priceless strike in the 17th minute gave CAPS United a slender victory to keep the Harare giants in the league championship race.
The defeat, however, did little to erase memories of pain, from a section of their fans, who are still bitter at failing to beat Dynamos in three successive matches.
A number of the fans have been taking to the social media to blast coach Taurai Mangwiro for the team’s failure to beat their bitter rivals.
Interestingly, Mangwiro, a former Dynamos player, joined CAPS United in 2012 while the Green Machine’s poor run against DeMbare stretches to 2009. On Sunday, a group of unruly fans booed Pervington Zimunya, who came in the 27th minute for Kelvin Bulaji.
In the end Zimunya, a once feared forward at Shabanie Mine, failed to find his feet in the entire game.
