Caps United goalie to pay $65 in maintenance

Court Reporter
THE Civil Court has ordered CAPS United goalkeeper Joram Muchambo to pay $65 monthly to his ex-girl friend for the upkeep of his three-year old son.

This was after the footballer’s former girlfriend Anna Marema had approached the court demanding $300 a month for the upkeep of the child.

Marema told magistrate Ms Ruth Kamangira that Muchambo was earning a lot of money from Caps United.

“He is a footballer and he plays for Caps United where he earns $500, so from that amount I want him to give me $300 as maintenance,” she said.

“I am aware that he has a wife and three other children, but my child is still young and needs much more attention.”

Muchambo had offered to pay $30 citing other responsibilities.
