FLAMBOYANT musician, Carlos Green, says his upcoming album, ‘‘The Trophy’’, will tackle challenges that people go through in life, among them poverty.

The 10-track album will be launched in March.

In an interview with H-Metro, Green said some of the songs will be sampled at his 35th birthday bash on January 26.

“I am holding a birthday bash at Long Chen Plaza (Bar Rouge).

“As a way of honouring the guests, who will attend the event, I will perform some of the new songs,” he said.

He said his fans should expect great tunes.

“My fans are aware that I never disappoint, so I will give them the best. The album was supposed to be released this month, but there were some delays in shooting the visuals.

“Other artists who will perform at the bash are Andy Muridzo, Seh Calaz and Romeo Gasa,” he said.
