But that game is now unlikely to be played after Makepekepe skipper David Sengu was last night drafted into the Warriors’ squad.
The Premiership programme will also see resurgent giants Highlanders facing Adam Ndlovu’s Chicken Inn in a Bulawayo derby at Barbourfields.
But defending champions Dynamos, who have been complaining of fatigue after playing a lot of games within a very short period of time, will get some breathing space.
PSL secretary-general, Kenny Ndebele, yesterday said some of the games, which were suspended last weekend to pave way for the hugely successful Benjani Mwaruwari testimonial match, will be played this Saturday.
But Dynamos, FC Platinum and Hwange, who have three players each in the Warriors preparing for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Guinea on Sunday, will not be in action.
All the league matches will be played on Saturday. Warriors’ coach, Rahman Gumbo, has included 16 home-based players in a 30-member squad. The PSL had contemplated suspending the games until the senior national team complete their three assignments in the coming month.
“We are going to have the week 10 fixtures this Saturday,” said Ndebele.
“We looked at the number of players the teams have contributed in the Warriors’ squad and we will also see if we can slot in matches over the weekend when Zimbabwe travel to Mozambique.”
CAPS United, who resumed their preparations yesterday, have been fixtured to travel to Gweru for a tricky date against Hardbody.
The match, however, may be shelved after David Sengu was also included in the Warriors fold yesterday, to bring to three the number of Green Machine players in the national team.
The Glamour Boys match against newboys Harare City scheduled for Rufaro was postponed indefinitely as they have Denver Mukamba, Partson Jaure and Takesure Chinyama on national team duty.
