ONE man, two women!
With so much more important things to be worried about, many women find themselves more focused on battling with the ‘other woman’.
They will slander her name. Stalk and harass her on the social media. Some even go as far as showing up at a woman’s house for a confrontation that can lead to violence.
This is the case of a Chikanga woman who is at loggerheads with her husband’s girlfriend, resulting in their spat spilling into the court corridors.
Nyasha Matsitsinha recently dragged her boyfriend’s wife to court applying for a peace order.
Matsitsinha and her boyfriend (name not supplied)’s wife, Kudakwashe Sanyamakamwe appeared before Mutare magistrate, Mr Xavier Chipato.
Mr Chipato granted a peace order valid for one year in favour of Matsitsinha. The court heard Sanyamakamwe was in the habit of threatening Matsitsinha.
The court also heard Sanyamakamwe was also in the habit of insulting Matsitsinha even in public.
“She approached me at Mudzviti Bus Terminus in town and insulted me in public, saying I had wrecked her marriage.
“She told the people I was with not to associate with me, as I have a knack of destroying marriages. I am tired of her aggression,” added Matsitsinha.
In defence, Sanyamakamwe said she confronted Matsitsinha demanding an explanation on why she was rocking her marriage. “This woman have the guts to be intimate with my husband in our matrimonial home. I had to chase her away at one time,” said Sanyamakamwe.
“She also lied to my husband that she was carrying her baby. This negatively impacted on my marriage,” added Sanyamakamwe.
However, Matsitsinha said she was not aware that they were still married.
“I dated her husband when he was not staying with her. I did not know that they were still together,” said Sanyamakamwe.
