CAUGHT ON CAM! Bulawayo traffic offenders to be named and shamed

SMILE, you’re on candid camera — and now, you’re about to be exposed!
Bulawayo police are set to release a sizzling list of shame this Thursday, outing rogue motorists caught red-handed flouting traffic laws in the CBD. The eye in the sky never blinks, and thanks to surveillance cameras secretly installed across the city centre last August, lawbreakers are finally being reeled in.

Following the explosive naming of 290 traffic fugitives in Harare last week, the crackdown has rolled into Bulawayo and the long arm of the law is stretching wide. From red light jumpers to reckless rule-benders, the Zimbabwe Republic Police are not playing games.

“We have the list and we will be making it public tomorrow,” warned ZRP national spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi.

Motorists who appear on the list have just seven days to report to the nearest police station before the heat turns all the way up. The Electronic Traffic Management System has officially entered the chat, and no number plate is safe.

It’s no longer just a traffic violation, it’s public humiliation. Drive dirty, and your name could be plastered all over town.
