GET ready, cricket fans, it’s back and it’s BIG!
Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has just dropped the ticket prices for the sizzling two-match Test series between the Chevrons and the mighty South African Proteas, kicking off June 28 at Queens Sports Club.
Dubbed “The Battle of the Limpopo,” this long-awaited showdown comes after an eight-year wait, with the last Test between these rivals ending in just two days back in 2017!
Fans wanting to catch all the action will fork out US$2 per day or splash out US$7 for the full match on the rest of the ground. Prefer a premium view? Grandstand tickets go for US$5 per day or US$15 for the whole game — a small price to see cricket history in the making.
The first Test runs from June 28 to July 2, with the second clash slated for July 6 to 10.
Here’s the kicker: in nine Test encounters so far, Zimbabwe’s Chevrons have never beaten the Proteas. South Africa has dominated with eight wins and one draw way back in 2001 at this very ground.
Will this be the year the Chevrons break the curse? Or will the Proteas continue their grip on Zimbabwe? Fans better grab those tickets fast because this Battle of the Limpopo promises fireworks!
