CCC leadership abandons candidates?

Nqobile Tshili, Online Reporter

Citizen Coalition for Change candidates in Matabeleland have been left stranded amid allegations that their nomination papers are yet to arrive from Harare.

The candidates had arrived at the Nomination Court by 10AM but up to now nothing has happened. Most of them have now exited the Nomination Court and are milling outside the court.

Citizen’s Coalition for Change candidates have gathered at Gwanda’s “Yellow House”, the party’s offices, as they await the arrival of the necessary paperwork required by the nomination court.
The paperwork, including party lists for National Assembly and local authority seats is allegedly expected to arrive from Harare before the close of the nomination court today. As a result of the missing paperwork, no CCC candidate has so far submitted their papers to the nomination court.
