Political background
Cde Moyo started political activities at the age of 16, as a Zanu-PF Youth Secretary for Magobho Branch. In 1989 he was voted chairperson of Magobho branch and held that position up to 1994.

Thereafter he was District Youth chairperson for Magobho District for 10 years. In 2004 he was elected District chairperson for Magobho main wing, a position he held up to 2007.

In 2008 he was elected Umguza District Co-ordinator chairman, a position he held up to 2012, when the Central Committee and Politburo decided to disband all DCCs countrywide. He is the current Matabeleland North Provincial chairman for Zanu-PF since 2012.

He has also  represented Zanu-PF in Copac. “I have dedicated my whole political life to Zanu-PF and my DCC was the leading district in the province both in its structures and political conscientisation.

I have attended all party conferences and congresses since 1987.” Cde Moyo is a self-motivated hard worker, good team player, has a passion for the party Zanu-PF, has ability to build a tremendous huge following of Zanu-PF members, he is community progression oriented, proficient in most areas of portfolio to meet the party’s targeted activities, capable of proffering inroads in opposition dominated wards and districts of Matabeleland North Province.

“During my tenure I have successfully retained five (5) more seats in the province which were opposition dominated.”
Social Responsibility Programmes

Borehole rehabilitation Umguza area (100 boreholes).

Donated school furniture to 30 schools in Umguza Constituency.

Donated 100 chickens to women’s clubs.

Pays school fees for underprivileged children.

Helps in paying hospital bills and gives food to the community.
