Celebrating Mother’s Day

gifts of all shapes and sizes are sure to exchange hands tomorrow as children honour their mothers for the role they played in bringing them into this world.

“No one can replace my Mom,” said a six-year-old boy after receiving a birthday present from his mother.
No matter how big celebrated you are, you are still a child and the tables have turned as you ought to show some love to your mother.

Zimbabweans join the rest of the world in celebrating Mother’s Day tomorrow and for most people the day usually means hunting down a gift and scribbling in a mass-produced card.

Mayla Moyo, lifestyle coach and guru based in Borrowdale, said this year, do something a little different by showing your Mom how much she means to you.

“Whatever you did last year, better top it this time round and make Mother’s Day memorable for the woman who gave you life. If you usually pick up a bouquet for Mother’s Day better up the bet this year by offering mother an entire garden full of flowers without necessarily splurging,” she said.
