THE Central Region Soccer League has announced the delay of the league’s kick off by a further week as a result of administrative challenges.

Initially, the league was supposed to have commenced on the weekend of 14-15 March but was pushed forward by a further two weeks.

But the CRSL says fixtures will not go ahead this weekend to allow for the conclusion of preparations and administrative issues

“We wish to advise that the league kick-off initially scheduled for 28 March 2026 has been moved to 2 April 2026,”reads a letter from the league’s administrator Gift Nyapomwe.

“This adjustment is aimed at ensuring all preparations for the new season
are fully concluded, including the finalisation of administrative processes and venue readiness.

“All clubs are encouraged to continue with their preparations as we look forward to a smooth and successful start to the season.

Further details regarding fixtures will be communicated in
due course.”
