Chamisa on attachment at High Court

Minister Chamisa, who is a University of Zimbabwe law student, was busy serving the public on the front counter of the Master of High Court’s office, as part of his attachment. The youthful minister, who was wearing a different hat, was seen carrying bulky files to the counter to assist people who had requested to peruse their files. Minister Chamisa started his attachment yesterday and he will be attached to the High Court until August 31. People thronged the deceased estates office to personally witness the rare occasion.

Some just entered the office to make petty questions in a bid to see the minister at work. Others would peep through the door. The office yesterday appeared crowded and busy as people jostled to catch a glimpse of the minister wearing the clerk of court’s hat. In an interview, Minister Chamisa confirmed he was on attachment.

“This is part of my studies and the seniors are assisting me here,” said Minister Chamisa.
Mr Chamisa holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, all from the University of Zimbabwe.
