Changara caps fine season

ZIMBABWE born Tambuti FC head coach Tarisai Changara is the MTN National First Division 2015/16 best coach capping a fine season in which he won promotion to the MTN Premier League of Swaziland.

The star surely shines for the young mentor to make up for fame he got nowhere near during his playing career.

He walkedA� away 3000 emalangeni richer and with a miniature trophy.

Changaraa��s crowning came at the glamorous joint National First Division and PLS awards ceremony held at a Mbabane hotel last week.

a�?Ita��s rare for a foreign coach to be recognised in this country, so being recognized with this award caps a fine moment for me as a young coach.

a�?I dedicate this award to my family and the Tambuti FC team. If it was not for the players, sponsors and fans it would not have been possible,a�? said Changara.

Not only did the former Tomlinson FC player bask in the sun in league games but he enjoyed a fairytale giant killing run in the lucrative SwaziBank Sidlala Kanje cup in which he lost to Hebert Maruwaa��s Green Mamba at the semi final stage.

a�?We will sit down to discuss the new deal next week (this week) when the current contract runs out. I am optimistic I will land an improved deal,a�? said Changara.

The new season is scheduled for an August kick off and it looks almost certain that there will be two Zimbabwe born coaches in the PLS. .
