CHANTER LEANS ON TI GONZI

RISING Zim dancehall artist, Chillmaster, reckons he has plenty to learn from rapper Ti Gonzi.

Chillmaster respects the Zim Hip Hop stalwart for his impact after inspiring a number of rappers to make it to the top, among them Holy Ten.

The Zim dancehall artist has since released a new song, featuring Ti Gonzi.

It is titled Ndiudze Zvese.

He promised more music from the pair before the end of the year.

Speaking to H-Metro, Chillmaster said he was due to release a number of collaborations with bigger artists.

“I promise not to starve my listeners and we are going to choose quality over quantity.

“We have bigger collaborations coming out this year and we are yet to finalise the final projects so as to give clear information to the fans,” he said.

Chillmaster has described working with Ti Gonzi as a blessing.

“Ti Gonzi has always been good and working with him has been a blessing as it is always a learning phase for me as well as for my team.

“Ti Gonzi is more experienced so, obviously, I learnt a lot.”

Chillmaster has worked with a lot of artists in the music industry.

They include the late Soul Jah Love, where they produced a fan favourite titled Life Yatiri Kurarama.

“At first my family was not supportive as they were surprised by my career path but now they are supportive.

“So, I would like to thank them a lot and I will continue to work harder,” he said.
