weekend where Bulawayo artistes Sandra Ndebele, Jeys Marabini and Chase Skuza represented the region, saw artistes mixing and mingling with a number of promoters and soccer legends from all over the country.
In an interview, City of Kings’ Queen of Dance Sandra Ndebele said the trip brought promoters and artistes under one roof, a necessity if one is to make it in the music industry.
“We just got back from Harare and I really must say I have learnt that if one is to make it in the industry there is a need for being out there and getting to mix and mingle with potential promoters.
“As artistes, mixing with promoters is a very good thing to do especially for those still climbing the ladder to success as they get to meet with future sponsors,” said Ndebele.
The event comes up with teams annually not only in the aspect of playing soccer, but teams that could possibly work together in future in promoting arts and culture.
