Cheating bride commits suicide

found happiness in her relationship with Mr Parr.
After setting up home together in Penzance, when Miss Raymond was just 17, the couple went on to have two sons and eventually decided to marry.
But in a statement Mr Parr said their relationship took a turn for the worse after Miss Raymond confessed that she had slept with another man at a wedding in June 2011.
Mr Parr said: “I told her I could not trust her and we could not marry.”
The father said he finished the relationship but agreed to stay in the family home for the sake of their sons and they continued talking.
On the night of July 8, just a month after the one night stand Mr Parr said he agreed to sleep in the same bed as Miss Raymond, known as Cassie, but woke in the early hours to discover that she had gone.
He said he found her slumped in the car which was parked in the garage with the engine running.
Miss Raymond had died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Mr Parr added: “I gave her one or two rescue breaths but it was clear Cassie was dead. My first thought was ‘what will I tell the children.’’
Ashley Jephson, who had been a friend of Miss Raymond since they were 11, said Miss Raymond was distraught after her relationship with Mr Parr hit the rocks.
She said: “She was devastated over her behaviour at the wedding.”
Despite their problems Miss Jephson said she was left ‘very, very shocked’ when Mr Parr rang her to say Cassie had killed herself.
Assistant coroner for Cornwall Barrie Van den Berg recorded a verdict of suicide. He said: “If time had been allowed you would have found some way of overcoming these things.” — Daily Mail.
