THE Cheetahs left Zimbabwe on Sunday for the World Rugby Challenger in Cape Town, South Africa.
They are scheduled to play their first game on Thursday at Markotter Stadium.
Zimbabwe are in Pool A with Germany, Tonga and Belgium.
They will take on Tonga on Thursday morning and then date Germany in the afternoon.
On Friday they will play Belgium.
In Pool C, Uganda are joined by Korea, Jamaica and Brazil.
The winners of the men’s competition will enter a four-team play-off at the HSBC London Sevens in May 2023, together with the teams placed 12th – 14th, after ten rounds of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The winners of the play-off will achieve the coveted Sevens World Series 2024 status.
