LONDON. – Cole Palmer scored a Panenka as Chelsea fought back from TWO GOALS down to win a seven-goal London derby 4-3 last night.
Palmer scored twice from the spot, including a cheeky Panenka, as Chelsea moved into second place, just four points behind inactive Liverpool.
The script could have changed if Son Heung-Min, who scored in the dying minutes to give Spurs some hope, had not missed a gilt-edged chance when he went clear on goal.
Spurs had taken the lead after Marc Cucurella slipped over TWICE in the build-up to the two Spurs goals in a thrilling first half – immediately changing his boots in comical fashion.
Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski took advantage of the errors by the defender but Jadon Sancho then fired a goal back for Chelsea before Cole Palmer levelled from the penalty spot and Enzo Fernandez smashed in a half-volley. – The Sun
