Chevrons go with four seamers for England Test

ZIMBABWE, who won the toss and elected to bowl first, have decided to pick an extra seamer in their starting XI for the historic one-off four-day Test match against England at Trent Bridge.

Tanaka Chivanga, who was a last minute replacement for the injured Trevor Gwandu starts and joins a seam attack that includes Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava and Victor Nyauchi.

Sikandar Raza, Brian Bennett and Wessly Madhevere provide spin options for the Chevrons

There is no place for Nick Welch in the starting XI with the skipper, Craig Ervine taking up the number three spot. Ben Curran and Brian Bennett will open the batting while Sean Williams, Raza and Madhevere make up the middle at number four, five and six respectively.

Tafadazwa Tsiga, at seven, takes the keeping gloves.
