Chevrons in total  control

THREE wickets taken on day three of the Zimbabwe only test against Afghanistan at Harare Sports Club have left the hosts in total control.

With Afghanistan still trailing Zimbabwe by over 120 runs, more wickets for the Chevrons in the coming overs could make victory certain.

The visitors crumbled on day one, managing 127 in their first innings. In response, Zimbabwe posted competitive 359, with Ben Curran carrying the Chevrons.

By end of day two, Afghanistan had already lost a wicket. In the ongoing match, day three, Richard Ngarava has taken three wickets while Tanaka Chivanga has taken one.
