Chez Ntemba Night Club will tomorrow play host to one of the biggest parties featuring some of Harare’s top DJs to mark Dollarbill’s birthday.
Dollarbill, whose real name is Marlvin Hweva Mvura, is a resident DJ at the club whose popular slots draw large crowds every weekend. He is one of the best when it comes to rocking the club scene with his amazing delivery on the decks of dance and house classics as well as afro-pop music.
Outside club scene, Dollarbill has regular slots on the hot commercial radio station Star FM where he rocks the party radio on Club 89.7. Unlike some DJs who struggle with the serato turntables, Dollarbill effortlessly delivers using the latest technology.
Besides the birthday boy, other DJs who are set to feature at the bash are Wale, Seductive G, Mark Hustler, Trickx, Professor, the duo of Ash Styles and Nivek, Romeo Afro, Templeman and Dee Nosh.
Also on the line-up is Jaddie Jam, the DJ from the old skool era. He is expected to take fans down the memory lane when he plays music from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
Both Wale and Seductive are regulars at Chez Ntemba and the two have been making waves at the club for some time now. Seductive G is known for his blazing hits while Wale turns things up just the way fans like it.
Ash Stylez and Nivek who are fondly known as “Game Recognise Game” on the club scene are inseparable. The youthful DJs have learnt a lot in a short period of time but that doesn’t mean they are minnows when it comes to partying.
The two who have featured on a number of occasions at the Star FM-organised Big Chill, are a favourite of many and they are so unpredictable. It is a always a joy to listen to their selection of music when they are behind the decks.
According to Dollarbill, the party starts at around 9pm with lots of give-aways and then later it will be greater than before.
“All are welcome to the party. It’s my birthday and I want everybody to enjoy without any glitches. We are opening early so that people have enough time to enjoy the vibes. There are several DJs on rotation so it is not like any other day. This is one show not to miss,” he said.
