Chibadura’s legacy in safe hands

Entertainment Reporter

JOHN Chibadura might have died over two decades ago but his legacy is in safe hands.

His children – John Junior, Simba  and Knowledge – have been reviving their father’s music.

Known as JSK  and  Tembo Brothers, the siblings have been spending much of their time in the studio recording new songs.

Their single, Vana Vangu, has a beautiful accompanying video.

The trio, which has roped in four other faces, including Mbuya Madhuve’s nephew Selusiwe,  gave  diners a treat when they showcased their stuff at the launch of a new eatery.

The group left diners clamouring for more as they performed both the late Chibadura’s songs and their own compositions.

In interview with H-Metro, Chibadura’s son Simba, said:

“The legacy of our father is in safe hands.

“We have been rehearsing for this show and we are ready to hold a series of shows.

“It was indeed a great  event where we showed fans that we have plenty to offer.

“We enjoyed the event  and we will continue working hard as a group.”’
