ORGANISERS of the Chibuku Super Cup have lined up a football jamboree which will see the quarter-finals taking place at the National Sports Stadium in double headers on Saturday and Sunday.
Chicken Inn and Chapungu will get the ball rolling in a lunch-hour kick-off before Triangle and Harare City take to the stage late in the afternoon. The clash between defending champions FC Platinum and Dynamos is expected to be the main match of the weekend 24 hours later.
But ZPC Kariba and How Mine will have warmed the arena in an early kick-off at 1pm. Premier Soccer League chief executive, Kenny Ndebele, said fans will pay the normal prices at the gates and the same ticket will allow them to watch two matches on the day.
Ndebele said they had to settle for double headers since they wanted all the matches to be broadcast live on Supersport. “We had a meeting with the broadcaster and we agreed to double headers with the sponsors because we wanted the matches to be broadcast on Supersport.

Sunday: ZPC Kariba v How Mine (NSS, 1300hrs); FC Platinum vs Dynamos (NSS, 1530hrs)
