Chicken Inn, GreenFuel go into the break tied

CHICKEN Inn and GreenFuel go into the halftime break of their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Week 12 tied at nil-all.
The Gamecocks have had a fair share of chances in the first stanza but could not convert their domination to goals.

Chicken Inn had the first real chance of the game in the 10th minute when Genius Mutungamiri attempted a shot from just outside the box but his effort was met by an alert Ashely Ryners in goals for the visitors.
In the 16th minute, the Gamecocks got a free kick in a promising position but George Majika’s low attempt was blocked by the GreenFuel wall.
The visitors’ first chance of the first stanza came in the 22nd minute when Godknows Mutina took a shot from inside the box but was saved by Donovan Bernard.
Moments later, GreenFuel came close to breaking the deadlock with a brilliant Mutina header but his effort was cleared off the line by the Chicken Inn skipper Xolani Ndlovu.
The visitors continued attacking and got a free kick on the edge of the box, which went to waste.
At the half hour mark,Tinashe Mushaireni came close to putting the hosts in front but his volley from inside the box was blocked away for a corner kick on the goal line.
