A 22-YEAR-OLD woman from Bulawayo has appeared in court facing allegations of forging hospital documents in a bid to defraud ZB Bank.
Zibusiso Ncube, who resides at Shivi Building in the city, appeared before Bulawayo Magistrate Ms Beverly Madzikatire charged with forgery. She was remanded out of custody to May 28 on US$250 bail.

The complainant in the case is Sikhangele Chikoma (55) who represented ZB Bank.
According to the State, represented by prosecutor Mr Sehliselo Khumalo, the offence was committed on October 17, 2024, at ZB Bank in Bulawayo.

It is alleged that Ncube submitted documents bearing a forged Mpilo Central Hospital letterhead, a fake date stamp, and a fraudulent medical bill purportedly issued by one Dr Ngonidzashe Frank Chikomo — all without the doctor’s authorisation.
Ncube allegedly intended to use the forged documents to claim hospital expenses from ZB Bank, thereby potentially causing the institution financial prejudice.
