Chicken Inn look east for answers

CASTLE Lager Premier Soccer League outfit Chicken Inn have acquired the services of unheralded ex-Mutare City midfielder Kudakwashe Gurure.

Gurure (21) reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Rahman Gumbo-mentored side.

a�?We have added Kudakwashe Gurure in our 2017 squad. He was recommended to us by our coaches and we are glad that he is already in Bulawayo,a�? said Chicken Inn secretary-general Tawengwa Hara.

The young midfielder faces stiff competition for a starting place at Chicken Inn.

The club boasts of nimble-footed skipper Clemence Matawu, Thabani a�?Dubulaa�? Goredema, Canaan Nkomo, Guide Goddard, George Majika and Physwell Madhazi, players who have been doing well in the middle of the park.

Gurure was on top of his game last season in Mutare City colours where he finished among the cluba��s top goal scorers.
