Chicken Inn plays coy as Chikuhwa comeback rumours swirl

CHICKEN Inn gaffer Joey Antipas has poured cold water on social media rumours linking goal machine Lynoth Chikuhwa with a dramatic return to Bulawayo.

The ex-Golden Boot winner, who bagged 17 goals for Highlanders last season, has struggled to find form at Scottland, scoring just once this campaign amid limited game time.

Whispers suggest Chikuhwa could land at Chicken Inn during the ongoing mid-season transfer window, but Antipas says nothing is set.
“It’s a bit premature to talk about us getting Chikuhwa. But we will be making additions to the squad in this window,” he said.

With the window open until July 31, fans remain on high alert as clubs scramble to beef up for the season’s second act. Could Chikuhwa’s homecoming be on the cards? Only time will tell.
