BULAWAYO Chiefs and Chicken Inn have officially returned to their traditional home ground following the reopening of Luveve Stadium, bringing an end to their temporary relocation.

The Bulawayo-based Premier Soccer League side confirmed that their MatchDay 19 fixture will be staged at Luveve Stadium this Saturday, where they will host Agama FC.

The reopening of Luveve Stadium marks a significant moment for the club and its supporters, who have had to follow their team at alternative venues in recent fixtures.

During that period, Barbourfields Stadium served as Chiefs and Gamecocks temporary home ground.
The club expressed appreciation to Barbourfields Stadium authorities for accommodating their matches while Luveve was undergoing preparations for reopening.

The return to Luveve is expected to restore a strong home advantage and familiar atmosphere for Bulawayo Chiefs, who have traditionally enjoyed solid backing from their supporters at the venue.
Attention now turns to this weekend’s clash against Agama FC, with the Chiefs aiming to make a winning return in front of their home fans.-@FungaiMuderere
