Chikumbirike named councillor

and journalist Mrs Tariro Chikumbirike as a special interest councillor for Harare.
She replaces Councillor Abicia Ushewokunze who resigned recently to pursue other interests.
Minister Chombo yesterday said he had accepted the resignation and announced the appointment of Mrs Chikumbirike (nee Makanga) who he said had vast experience in gender, HIV and Aids issues. The minissaid Mrs Chikumbirike would also help bolster the role of women in local government.
