HWANGE skipper, Kelly Shiandindi has urged his teammates to remain grounded after back-to-back wins.
Chipangano’s 3-0 victory over struggling Green Fuel made it two wins in a row.
They became the first Castle Lager Premiership newly-promoted side to win this season after upsetting Yadah Stars 2-1 on the road.
Chipangano are playing their home fixtures in Bulawayo until their home ground is cleared for use in top-flight league matches.
The team is under the guidance of Nation Dube, who is being assisted by Bongani Mafu.
Shiandindi was also the team’s skipper last season and helped them secure their PSL status.
The wing back finished as the club’s top scorer and he was voted as the league’s best player.
“We didn’t start the way we wanted but I’m happy with how the tables have turned.
“It’s still too early but, considering where we are coming from, there is little room for us to drop points.
“We have been playing well and I think everyone is starting to understand and implement the demands of our coaches but we have to remain level-headed,” said Shiandindi.
Hwange will host Sheasham at Luveve on Saturday.
The Gweru side have two points in three outings.
“This is one of our toughest fixtures for obvious reasons, we are all fighting to retain our Premiership status for next season.
“A lot is at stake in this match but we are going to try our best to get a positive result.
“We are approaching every game with the same attitude and it’s an advantage to us that we don’t rely on individual moments but we are playing as a team.”
