Some of the children’s homes that were visited include Jairos Jiri, Chinyaradzo, Shammah, Emerald Hill and Harare Children’s Home.
Established in 1989, Chipawo is an arts education for development and employment trust which works with children and young people in child development.
For over 22 years, Chipawo has been involved in many international festivals and exchanges. In Marondera and Bindura, the day saw teens using the opportunity to showcase their talents through music and dance.
Students from SOS Village presented a speech and poem based on the day’s theme.
