Chipaz birthday bash slated for Guruve

he decided to have a party with a difference by having it in the rural area to enable him to reconnect the lost love for the village which was his home during his formative years.

His birthday bash will coincide with the official opening of a restaurant that he built for his mother.
Speaking in a telephone interview Chimbodza could not hide his joy.

“I am happy to be turning 38 and would like to thank God for looking after me all these years. Yes, I confirm that I will be celebrating my birthday at my village in Mudhindo, Guruve. The day will coincide with the official opening of my mother’s restaurant,” said the elated Chimbodza.

Three musicians have been lined up to perform at the fun-filled celebrations.
“Peter Moyo, First Farai and Mukudzei ‘Jah Prayzah’ Mukombe will be performing and entertaining guests on this day,” he said.

Commenting on the high-octane gig First Farai said, “It is indeed an honour to play at Chipaz’s birthday bash. After all he is our brother who has done a lot in nurturing talent in the country.

“I would like to urge our fans to turn up in their numbers because we have something special to offer. I will be playing Tongai Moyo’s music and also sample songs from my forthcoming album,” said First Farai.

Contemporary singer Jah Prayzah’s co-ordinating manager, Mabla said: “We are honoured to play on the day and because of the love Chipaz has showed to us all, we will reciprocate by giving a top class act,” he said.
