ELVIS Chipezeze understands why Magesi have had a mixed start to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
Magesi secured their first win when they beat Siwelele 2-0 at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday.
Chipezeze believes that the team’s form can improve going forward.
Speaking to the media, during the launch of the Carling Knockout Cup, the Zimbabwean international claimed the club was undergoing a transformation with a new coach and a group of new players.
“We started a little bit down but now we are trying to get there,” Chipezeze said.
“It is a process and remember he is a new gaffer, new environment, and new players, so it is a process.
“We have to keep on working hard because these things happen in football.
“The most important thing is consistency. Now that we have picked our first (three points), we just have to keep the momentum going.”
The Zimbabwe international said it’s good that people are recognising his good work which he puts on during match day and also during training.
“Credit to the guys that I’m working with because they make me who I am.
“We just have to continue making them proud and putting a smile on their faces. It is a good draw (Carling Knockout Cup) for us.
“On the road again just like last season, we started the fixture on the road.
“It is a good fixture playing against a team that we played recently. With the experience that they have we will try to make our fans happy because they have been there with us.
