Chipfumo prays for progress

Prolific guitarist and vocalist, Progress Chipfumo, has opened up on his plans for 2023.

Chipfumo said last year was hard for him.

He commented on how artists have been putting effort to create music which has an international standard.

Chipfumo said despite all the challenges he might have faced, he was excited to announce that he has plans for this year.

He said that he is ready to take his music to the next level.

“Comparing 2022 and 2023 for now it will be a bit too early because we haven’t even reached the end of the second month yet. 

“All I can say is that I have bigger plans for this year,” he said.

Chipfumo promised his fans more weekend shows.

He added that this coming weekend they will stage their first gig of the year alongside Alick Macheso and Freeman at Damview Gardens in Chitungwiza on Saturday.

“We are performing our first family show in Chitungwiza on Saturday where we hope to meet our old and new fans in the area.

“We are raring to go and ensure that we give our loyal fans real value for their money,” he said.

The show starts at 1pm till late.
