Chisora hopeful

LONDON. — Zimbabwe-born Dereck Chisora remains confident that a heavyweight boxing rematch with Dillian Whyte will happen and is willing to work with his British rival’s promoter Eddie Hearn.

Chisora is eager to avenge his split decision points defeat to Whyte, who returns to action on the Terence Crawford-Julius Indongo bill in Nebraska on August 20.

Hearn has admitted that Whyte-Chisora II could still be staged this year and “Del Boy” believes he will get the chance to inflict a crushing knockout on the Brixton man in a second fight.

“The rematch is going to happen,” Chisora told Sky Sports. “The world is going to have to see the rematch.

“I’m going to destroy that guy. I’m going to batter him from corner to corner. I’m not even joking, I’m going to destroy him. I’m going to have to knock him out. “I just want to fight. It will be a great fight. — Sky Sports.
