The three-day Mega Miracle Crusade which took place in Chitungwiza at the weekend which attracted top gospel musicians Charles and Olivia Charamba, Blessing Shumba and Bethan Pasinawako, among others, was full of surprises, with host prophet Tamuka Shoko prophesying that Shumba and his wife would cruise in a new ML before yearend.

The prophecy was made during Kingdom Reigners International Ministries’ gospel crusade in Zengeza 2.

Shumba, who was part of the guest artistes at the event, never knew that a miracle was in store for him when the prophet announced to the close to 3 000 audience that Shumba and his Holy Psalms outfit were headed for bigger things which will also see them making their maiden United Kingdom tour.

“I can see a metallic black ML, you are not going to buy it, rather it is going to locate you. Garai matenga key holder yeML mozoti Baba vakataura (Be prepared to receive this gift),” he said.

Prophet Shoko commended the Charambas, Lyton Ngolomi and his wife and renowned female singer Bethan of “Ndinzverei” fame as well as Shumba and his wife, and exhorted them to be exemplary in preaching the word of God.

“You are the light of this world and we are glad that God is using you as role models in preaching Jehovah’s word and this also involves marriages, hence one of our mottos, ‘Jehovah Marriage’ which is premised on building solid marriage foundations,” Prophet Shoko said.

The Charambas who performed on the first day of the crusade were their usual impeccable selves and impressed with their act.

They livened up the opening ceremony to the joy of the droves attending the event.

Shumba came in on the second day and also put up a polished performance.

It has become standard for mainstream gospel artistes to become headline events at church crusades.

Secular musicians are at times invited to become part of the events.
