Gospel musician Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro says he created beautiful memories during his debut Australian tour at the weekend.
Chivaviro’s tour of Sydney and Adelaide had been postponed twice last year due to unforeseen circumstances.
However, he says he was happy to finally perform in Australia for the first time during a two-day music and word concert.
“This was my first time in Australia and I was encouraged by the love and support that I got.
“The first event was a purely a musical concert in Adelaide on Saturday and two sessions preaching the word in Sydney.
“I was surprised to see the auditorium fully packed.
“I ministered both in song and word and the Zimbabweans living in Australia made me feel like I was home as they sang along to almost every song,” said Chivaviro.
The Ebenezer hit-maker tour has opened more opportunities for him.
“It was a nostalgic two-day period and I thank God that I will be going back to Australia soon after other fans in Melbourne and Perth contacted me for another event.
“I will definitely dedicate more time and visit more towns so that personally meet and perform for the fans in Australia.
Chivaviro’s visit was enabled by Bellington Magwanyamwanya, Zoe Mvura, Rev Zwana and Pastor Shone.
