THE Chivhu twins, who were said to be tormented by evil spirits that affected their studies, have returned to school and are due to sit for their A-Level exams this year.
Natalie and Natasha Chowu skipped Lower Sixth after excellent results at O-Level.
They are currently attending Focus Academy in Waterfalls.
Natalie wants to be a journalist, while Natasha wants to be a lawyer.
Both said they were grateful to H-Metro and Star FM radio for helping them publicise their issues which led to an improvement in their quality of life.
The school’s directors were quick to respond to their needs and changed their lives for the better. Since then, Natalie and Natasha have excelled, and were among winners at the school’s 2023 Prize Giving Day yesterday.
“We want to thank H-Metro and Star FM for sharing our issues and this is where we are now,” said Natalie.
“The teachers are good and we managed to come out with good results at O-Level and pleaded to skip Lower Sixth and were given the green light.
“We are writing our A-Levels this year and look forward to enrolling for university.
“Natasha wants to be a lawyer while I am looking at studying journalism,” said Natalie.
Natalie and Natasha were forced to relocate to Harare after they were reported to have been manifesting during lessons at Daramombe High School at the beginning of last year.
Their story made headlines on Star FM and H- Metro.
The Focus Academy director approached H-Metro and enrolled them at his institution.
Focus Academy also enrolled another student, a son to a local church pastor living with disability, who also scooped prizes.
