Cholera outbreak in Kariba

One person has died and five others are receiving treatment after a cholera outbreak in Gache Gache Fishing Camp, Kariba District.

Kariba district civil protection unit and District Development Coordinator Mr El Shaddai Gumbochuma confirmed the outbreak.

“One person has died and has since been buried,” said Mr Gumbochuma.

“At least five others are receiving treatment and recovering well.”
