CHOREOGRAPHER Nissi “Nixxi the Code Breaker” Nyamayaro said he is honoured to be the first dancer in Zimbabwe to perform alongside Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz.
Nixxi The Code Breaker was invited to share the dancefloor with Diamond Platnumz at the third edition of the Kadoma Music Festival over the weekend.
In an interview with H-Metro, the dancer said it was a humbling experience for him as he was sharing the stage with his role model.
Nixxi has worked with both local and international artists on music videos.
“Yes, this was my first time performing with an international artist who happens to be my role model.
“I have worked with other international artists, on different projects like on music videos
“Setting such a standard in the dance fraternity was a dream come true, performing alongside my role model and renowned international artist on stage was an utterly exhilarating and humbling experience.
“Sharing the spotlight with someone I’ve long admired and revered was a surreal moment that transcended my expectations.
”The man himself, Diamond Platnumz, is my role model.
“Other than the moment I shared with Diamond, my other best moment was at the Sunshine City festival and I was performing with Killer T.”
