CHRIS ADOPTS ZIM NAMES

JAMAICAN dancehall star, Chris Martin, has adopted a Zimbabwean name.

The Cheaters Prayer singer prefers calling himself Tinashe Tatenda Martin.

The singer, who graced Zim dancehall stalwart Freeman’s album launch, said he now treats Zimbabwe as his second home.

The singer delivered a flawless performance which left the thousands of fans a happy lot.

“My Zimbabwean name is Tinashe Tatenda Martin, it has something to do with giving thanks and you are blessed,” he said

During his performance, the crowd could be seen and heard screaming out loudly as they enjoyed his set.

His stage presence and communication were perfect.

At one point during his performance, he stopped to check on a fan who had fallen down due to the commotion.

He also returned a cellphone that a fan had thrown onto the stage.
