Lancelot Mapfumo burial today

THE deceased Blacks Unlimited percussionist, Lancelot Mapfumo, will be laid to rest in Harare today.

Lancelot succumbed to cancer on September 18.

According to the burial schedule, Lancelot will be laid to rest at Warren Hills Cemetery.

“The body of the late Blacks Unlimited percussionist, Lancelot Mapfumo, will depart Nyaradzo Funeral Parlour Willowvale at 1530 hours for 109 Muchirahondo Street in Mbare.

“A memorial service will be held today (yesterday) at United Methodist Church, Mbare at 9am.

“Burial has been scheduled for Monday at Warren Hills Cemetery at 1pm.

“A tribute Bira (Live music) will be held on Monday (tonight) in memory of the late percussionist,” reads part of the programme.
