Christabel Zvinavashe crowned Miss Mashonaland West

from 12 other contestants.
Christabel walked away with US$500 prize money.
First princess Petina Nhambura of Mhondoro Ngezi pocketed US$300 while Letwin Muropa received US$200 for being chosen the second princess.
The three will represent Mashonaland West at the Miss Zimbabwe finals to be held in February next year.
Shanita Mumba was voted Miss Personality.
The event, which was held at Chinhoyi’s Orange Groove Motel, lasted well into the night despite the low turnout and suffering a couple of glitches.
The event failed to draw a sizeable crowd from the province with revellers from Harare constituting a greater proportion of the audience.
A good number of the contestants displayed ignorance on general interest and current affairs of the country.
The ever-humourous Extra Large tried to keep the crowd entertained throughout the show.
Rhumba outfit BV Labien Musica played before a virtually empty hall after only a few people remained behind for the after party.
