The Christmas party was spiced by a talent identification show which entertained hundreds of orphaned and less privileged children during the Unity Day commemorations.
Scores of children participated in various disciplines which included singing, dancing, poetry recitals and public speaking at the event and a number of them were identified and will be assisted according to their specialties.
“In the coming year, all the kids we identified during the year will be groomed by professionals in their respective fields before being taken to recording studios and some will dance on music videos and live shows.
God Parent has over the years held parties during public holidays at various orphanages including Rugare Orphan Care Headquarters, Nehosho Orphanage in Gweru.
A traditional dance group at Khayelihle Children Village called Umgido captured the imagination of everyone present and left several others in stitches with their comic antics. — The Chronicle.
