It is not the kind of return that he envisaged on his return to coaching duties.
It is not the kind of return they hoped for on their return to the Northern Region Soccer League after a brief flirtation with the Premiership.
But it is the reality confronting both veteran coach Moses Chunga and his Chegutu Pirates.
As they head to Harare to face Black Mambas for a Matchday 4 assignment, Chunga and his Pirates will be searching for a win that has so far been elusive.
Yet the former Dynamos, Shooting Stars, CAPS United and Gunners coach is refusing to press any panic button.
Chunga has however, acknowledged the competitiveness of the NRSL, which also very unpredictable.
After being relegated from the Premier Soccer League last season, Pirates had vowed that they would make a quick return to the top-flight.
For now, that seems a distant reality as they are still searching for their first victory in 2025.
In fact, Pirates only have one point from a possible nine, which came via a 0-0 draw with Ngezi U19 on Match-Day 3.
Chunga also noted the need for a quick turnaround by his team.
“Believe me not, Northern Region Soccer League is the toughest league, and every point matters,” Chunga said.
Chunga knows that Mambas will not be easy as the police men are one of the league’s seasoned campaigners.
Victory will certainly boost morale and confidence among the Pirates’ players while placating their demanding fans.
