A Kuwadzana kombi driver has been arrested for kidnapping 25 ECD students.
Samuel Honde (60) of Kuwadzana Extension collected the children, 14 girls snd 11 boys, from David Livingstone Primary School and drove them to Macheke where he ran out of fuel.
A passerby heard the children crying and made a police report.
Honde, who was contracted by the parents to take the children to and from school from 2016, had instead driven east along the Harare-Mutare Road.
He has been charged with kidnapping, and the students have been referred to hospital for examination.
