Man jailed 18 years for abusing 2 year-old niece

A 27-year old man from Marimbi Village, Seke has been convicted of aggravated indecent assault after he was caught red-handed inserting his tongue into his two-year-old niece’s privates.
The man appeared before a Chitungwiza magistrate where he pleaded guilty to the charge before he was sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment, three of which were suspended on condition of good behaviour.

It was proved that On January, this year the complainant’s father caught the accused person red-handed inserting his tongue into the complainant’s private part.

The accused is brother to the complainant’s father.

On the day in question he had visited his brother’s residence.
