Church leader on regional leadership

A local church leader has joined the rest of the country in celebrating the successful hosting of the Southern Africa Development Committee (SADC) summit.

Apostle Benjamin Murata, chairperson of Patriotic Churches in Zimbabwe said the taking over of SADC chairmanship by President Mnangagwa has a spiritual significance to the regional unity, power, healing, restoration and a thank you from efforts made by the Second Republic.

“Allow me to congratulate His Excellency, President Mnangagwa to be the chairman of SADC,” said Apostle Murata.

“His role is divine and has a spiritual significance to the regional new dawn to a better Africa.

“The Second Republic, led by President Mnangagwa has been preaching for international peace, engaging the lost relationship with other nations.

“Such a language of love and forgiveness is a true sign of a good leader and the chairmanship given to him is a reward from God.

“The developments he is undertaking, leaving no one behind and urging each and every one of us to take a brick and build our own country and pray for our own country is a message of hope and healing.

“His humbleness in engaging all religious denominations, removing his shoes and putting on white garment clothes for the sake of delivering a message of life is commendable.

“God saw it best for such leadership to be spread throughout the region for a better continent,” said Apostle Murata.

He urged church leaders to continue urging people to join hands in complimenting government efforts for national prosperity.

“Our national leader and Amai Mnangagwa have been running around to engage each and every one including other nations with a message of love, human incarnation and unity.

“Patriotic Churches in Zimbabwe will continue to pray for our leadership as what the Holy Bible teaches us to do.

“We urge all church leaders to continuously pray for our leaders day and night,” said Apostle Murata. Patriotic Church in Zimbabwe has more than 1000 leaders of various church denominations affiliated to it.
