Cimas Health Group unveiled its mobile clinic at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society Show in Harare on Saturday. The mobile clinic, which is well equipped, will be used to provide essential healthcare services to communities in underserved areas that struggle to access medical care.
Cimas Health Group chief marketing officer, Mrs Tatenda Madzikanda, stressed the importance of this initiative.
“Our goal is to help those who have to travel long distances to receive care, ensuring that everyone can access the medical attention they deserve,” said Madzikanda.
Cimas Health Group head of clinics, Dr Travolta Mushayamano, explained how the mobile clinic works.
“This is like a regular clinic but on wheels. It can reach communities that are hard to get to,” he said.
“With this mobile clinic, we can provide services such as general consultations, dental care, and even minor procedures.
“We are dedicated to reaching all corners of Zimbabwe, including areas like Dotito and Muzarabani.
The mobile clinic is part of Cimas’s commitment to complement the Government’s efforts in providing comprehensive healthcare.
Cimas Health Group chief executive officer, Mr Vulindlela Ndlovu said access to quality healthcare is essential for everyone.
“Our mobile clinic will help bridge the gap in healthcare delivery and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” he said.
The mobile clinic will offer services tailored to the specific needs of different communities, including preventive care, vaccinations, and health education.
“We want to ensure that even the most vulnerable groups receive the medical attention they need,” Mr Ndlovu said.
