HARARE City midfielder, Emmanuel Ziocha, says they have to work on their finishing for them to start winning games.
The Mbare-bred midfielder believes they still have enough games for them to fight their way out of relegation.
“I think we need to be more prolific in front of goal and convert more chances.
“We have been creating chances during our matches but we have let ourselves down.
“Our major thrust is in trying to get that aspect right and earn ourselves something positive.
“There are still more games and chances of improving our winning ratio.
“I think in the recent games, the team has been doing well and, with a bit of luck, we can win games so I do not see us being relegated.”
He added:
“We still stand a big chance and we will give all we have to implement what the coaches are telling us.
“I believe we have the capacity to start winning.
“My football life at Harare city has been great since I started my professional journey there.
“It’s been home and I cherish the support that I have received from the coaches, and fellow players, as I seek to establish myself within the team.
“I have not played to the maximum of my potential as my statistics are not yet up there.”
He says his background inspires him.
“I hope to score more goals and provide many assists,” he said.
“Yes, coming from Mbare inspires me a lot and the hardships from the ghetto fuel me to even work harder.
“I hope to make myself a big name.
“Obviously, I expect to help my team get a win against Triangle.”
Harare City recently shared spoils with Yadah Stars at the National Sports Stadium.
The Sunshine Boys are sitting on position 15th, with 19 points, after Matchday 20.
They have three wins, 10 draws and seven losses.
